Dogville: Grace Mulligan (Nicole Kidman), a beautiful fugitive on the run from gangsters, arrives in the isolated township of Dogville. The inhabitants of the town offer her a safe refuge but she soon learns that generosity comes at a price. Ingratiated to the local townspeople, Grace is seemingly powerless but she has a dangerous secret that will ultimately change Dogville forever.

Manderlay: Soon after the events of Dogville, Grace (Bryce Dallas Howard) stumbles across a remote rural property called Manderlay. There, she is surprised to find a cotton plantation running if slavery had not been abolished decades earlier and a group of black slaves living under a strict code of a long preserved status quo. Grace envisages a new dawn but soon her plans to redeem Manderlay begin to fall apart.
