Norma and Arthur Lewis (Cameron Diaz and James Marsden) are visited by a mysterious stranger (Frank Langella) who delivers a box and a message. If they choose to press the button, they will receive $1 million cash and somewhere in the world, someone they dont know, will die. With only 24 hours to make their decision, the Lewis dont realise that terrifying and irrevocable consequences have already been set in motion.
